Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 Detection Engine that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to restart, resulting in an interruption of packet inspection. This vulnerability is due to an error in the binder module initialization logic of the Snort Detection Engine. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending certain packets through an established connection that is parsed by Snort 3. A successfu
Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 Detection Engine that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to restart, resulting in an interruption of packet inspection. This vulnerability is due to an error in the JSTokenizer normalization logic when the HTTP inspection normalizes JavaScript. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP packets through an established connection that is parsed by S
A flaw was found in GIMP. A remote attacker could exploit this by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted PAA (Paint Shop Pro Array) image file. This vulnerability, a heap-based out-of-bounds write in the decode_lzss() function of the PAA file format plugin, allows data to be written beyond the intended memory buffer. This could lead to heap metadata corruption and potentially enable the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the affected system.
Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 detection engine that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to restart, resulting in an interruption of packet inspection. This vulnerability is due to incomplete error checking when parsing the Multicast DNS fields of the HTTP header. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP packets through an established connection to be parsed by Snort 3.
Neo4j's Bolt modern handshake decoder treats an overlong capability bit mask the same way it treats a truncated bit mask. When an unauthenticated client sends a selected protocol version followed by 32 continuation bytes in the capability mask, the decoder resets the reader index and waits for more bytes instead of rejecting the protocol message and closing the channel. Because the same unread bytes remain at the front of the decoder buffer, appending a terminating byte later does not recover
A vulnerability in the XAR file format parser of ClamAV could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a DoS condition or possibly other expanded impacts as a result of memory corruption on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to improper boundary checks for content in XAR files during scanning. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted file that contains XAR content to be scanned by ClamAV on an affected device. A successful exploit could al
A flaw has been found in code-projects Hospital Information System 1.0. The impacted element is the function User::login of the file includes/users/UsersController.php of the component User Login Handler. This manipulation of the argument email causes sql injection. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used.
A vulnerability was detected in pkp pkp-lib up to 3.3.0-22/3.4.0-10/3.5.0-4. The affected element is the function _transformPHP of the file classes/xslt/XSLTransformer.php. The manipulation results in xml external entity reference. The attack can be executed remotely. Upgrading to version 3.3.0-23, 3.4.0-11 and 3.5.0-5 is sufficient to fix this issue. The patch is identified as 78c699370ea43ae2784e1c4ace7c947d207f2b47. Upgrading the affected component is advised.
Tapo C100/C101 V5 contains a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the RTSP service. An authenticated attacker on the local network can send specially crafted RTSP frame data containing oversized length values, resulting in out-of-bounds heap writes. Successful exploitation can crash the RTSP service and trigger a device reboot, resulting in a temporary denial-of-service condition.
Tapo C100/C101 V5 contains a null pointer dereference vulnerability in the RTSP service. An attacker on the local network can send specially crafted requests that cause the service to dereference an invalid pointer, resulting in a service crash and device reboot. Successful exploitation can disrupt live video streaming functionality and cause a temporary denial-of-service condition.
BuildKit is a toolkit for converting source code to build artifacts in an efficient, expressive and repeatable manner. Prior to 0.31.2, a custom client can produce such an upload request to the BuildKit daemon that files can escape from the BuildKit-controlled state directory. The client needs to have valid permissions to access BuildKit control API to issue builds, eg., bypass authentication, etc. This issue is fixed in version 0.31.2.
A security issue exists within OTTO® Fleet Manager. The vulnerability stems from the use of an insufficient work factor in the bcrypt password hashing implementation, which could reduce the computational cost required for an attacker to perform offline brute-force attacks against stored password hashes. If an attacker gains access to an unencrypted system backup, the weakly hashed credentials could be more easily compromised.

Linuxfabrik Monitoring Plugins provides monitoring plugins for Icinga, Nagios, and related systems. Prior to version 7.0.0, check-plugins/logfile/logfile accepted a free-form --filename path and opened it as root when invoked through the shipped nagios or icinga sudoers allowlist, without confining the resolved path to /var/log. An attacker who controls the monitoring account can select a root-readable file such as /etc/shadow and use --warning-regex . while leaving SUPPRESS_OUTPUT false, causin
