Improper encoding of non-finite floating-point values during MapMessage JSON serialization in Apache Log4j API produces output that is not valid JSON. From 3.0.0 through 3.0.15, the t:utf8toUnicode transformation in src/actions/transformations/utf8_to_unicode.cc produces wrong output on i386 architecture because snprintf uses sizeof on a char pointer rather than the length of the unicode buffer, allowing rules that use this transformation to be bypassed on i386 architecture. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.16.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix NULL deref in map_kptr_match_type for scalar regs Commit ab6c637ad027 ("bpf: Fix a bpf_kptr_xchg() issue with local kptr") refactored map_kptr_match_type() to branch on btf_is_kernel() before checking base_type(). A scalar register stored into a kptr slot has no btf, so the btf_is_kernel(reg->btf) call dereferences NULL. Move the base_type() != PTR_TO_BTF_ID guard before any reg->btf access.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: usbhid: fix deadlock in hid_post_reset() You can build a USB device that includes a HID component and a storage or UAS component. The components can be reset only together. That means that hid_pre_reset() and hid_post_reset() are in the block IO error handling. Both use `module_init, so `cxl_pci_driver_init()` runs first. The Zephyr Bluetooth controller ISO Adaptation Layer (subsys/bluetooth/controller/ll_sw/isoal.c) fails to validate the length field of a framed ISO PDU start segment.
