In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs: relax assertions on failure to encode file handles Encoding file handles is usually performed by a filesystem >encode_fh() method that may fail for various reasons. The legacy users of exportfs_encode_fh(), namely, nfsd and name_to_handle_at(2) syscall are ready to cope with the possibility of failure to encode a file handle. There are a few other users of exportfs_encode_{fh,fid}() that currently have a WARN_ON() assert

The buf (dma cookie) and len stored in this structure are passed to dma_unmap_single() by stmmac_tx_clean(). In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: enetc: allocate vf_state during PF probes In the previous implementation, vf_state is allocated memory only when VF is enabled. However, net_device_ops::ndo_set_vf_mac() may be called before VF is enabled to configure the MAC address of VF. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: dsa: improve shutdown sequence Alexander Sverdlin presents 2 problems during shutdown with the lan9303 driver. One is specific to lan9303 and the other just happens to reproduce there. The first problem is that lan9303 is unique among DSA drivers in that it calls dev_get_drvdata() at "arbitrary runtime" (not probe, not shutdown, not remove): phy_state_machine() -> ... -> dsa_user_phy_read() -> ds->ops->phy_read

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: filesystems without casefold feature cannot be mounted with siphash When mounting the ext4 filesystem, if the default hash version is set to DX_HASH_SIPHASH but the casefold feature is not set, exit the mounting.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dlm: fix possible lkb_resource null dereference This patch fixes a possible null pointer dereference when this function is called from request_lock() as lkb->lkb_resource is not assigned yet, only after validate_lock_args() by calling attach_lkb(). Another issue is that a resource name could be a non printable bytearray and we cannot assume to be ASCII coded. The log functionality is probably never being hit when DLM is used

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gfs2: Fix NULL pointer dereference in gfs2_log_flush In gfs2_jindex_free(), set sdp->sd_jdesc to NULL under the log flush lock to provide exclusion against gfs2_log_flush(). In gfs2_log_flush(), check if sdp->sd_jdesc is non-NULL before dereferencing it. Otherwise, we could run into a NULL pointer dereference when outstanding glock work races with an unmount (glock_work_func -> run_queue -> do_xmote -> inode_go_sync -> gfs2_

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: Fix uninit-value access in __ip_make_skb() KMSAN reported uninit-value access in __ip_make_skb() [1]. __ip_make_skb() tests HDRINCL to know if the skb has icmphdr. However, HDRINCL can cause a race condition. If calling setsockopt(2) with IP_HDRINCL changes HDRINCL while __ip_make_skb() is running, the function will access icmphdr in the skb even if it is not included. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: Fix potential uninit-value access in __ip6_make_skb() As it was done in commit fc1092f51567 ("ipv4: Fix uninit-value access in __ip_make_skb()") for IPv4, check FLOWI_FLAG_KNOWN_NH on fl6->flowi6_flags instead of testing HDRINCL on the socket to avoid a race condition which causes uninit-value access.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: ensure offloading TID queue exists The resume code path assumes that the TX queue for the offloading TID has been configured. At resume time it then tries to sync the write pointer as it may have been updated by the firmware. In the unusual event that no packets have been send on TID 0, the queue will not have been allocated and this causes a crash. Fix this by ensuring the queue exist at suspend time.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/vmscan: fix a bug calling wakeup_kswapd() with a wrong zone index With numa balancing on, when a numa system is running where a numa node doesn't have its local memory so it has no managed zones, the following oops has been observed. It's because wakeup_kswapd() is called with a wrong zone index, -1. Fixed it by checking the index before calling wakeup_kswapd(). > BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: 00000000000

In ssh-agent in OpenSSH before 9.6, certain destination constraints can be incompletely applied. When destination constraints are specified during addition of PKCS#11-hosted private keys, these constraints are only applied to the first key, even if a PKCS#11 token returns multiple keys.
